The Brooklyn photo was taken around the same time (as the Harlem photo) at 305 Park in Bed Stuy during the Kevin Bushell Pre-Teen Classic tournament, not far from the legendary Soul in the Hole court.
"Half-Man, Half Amazing" from AND1 was on the fence watching, as was the whole neighborhood.
When I saw the kid holding the plastic cup in his mouth, I thought it was beautiful.
